I've got another epidural in my cervical spine soon and then a course of acupuncture which I am ready for as my pain consultant had put me on another nerve drug (Gabapentin) which really didn't suit me at all. I was having difficulty even getting the right words out when I spoke to anyone, it frightened me to death. It was just luck that I was online looking on the pain website that I noticed a lady had written about her experience with Gabapentin. Did anyone else find this ?

I've also been suffering a lot of numbness in my finger tips on both hands which I guess is from the neck problem so maybe that will sort itself out when I have my injection. I have decided to start writing a back pain diary after my next epidural so that I can see if this helps me and for how long. That way it helps me to understand the pain relief and also my doctors. Meanwhile I am still on a mission to find better pain relief than just drugs all the time so I will keep you posted.
